I ran the Seagate Disk Utility, and it didn’t see it either. August 26th, I say it gives me options, when I actually mean is it is now behaving differently than when there was no SATA drive installed.

Now that the drive is installed, it doesn’t show up anywhere in cmos. Now I can get some sleep!

It shows all the IDE drives, but that’s it. With a category view ‘disk drives’ just lists model numbers, not disk types.
