It controls the 8 ports on the ROMB card and is independent of any ports on the motherboard itself. No problems installign Xenserver or windows I am jsut unclear if the drives are mirrored. It controls the 4 blue SAS ports on the motherboard.

Here are some useful links: I tried a test by disconnecting one of the drives and tried to boot and was unseuccesful. Which are not supported by XenServer. You boarc be able to leave a comment after signing in.

Each of these models have different storage controllers and capabilities: Enabled On board raid and built raid 1 with GB’s On the Xenserver seerver it showed both drives and asked me to choose which one to install and which one I wanted as shared data location.
